Position Summary
The Effectiveness and Planning Team in PCC's Teaching and Learning Support Department is accepting applications for a Labor Market Data Coordinator. Among other duties, this position will coordinate the use of labor market and workforce information across the college. A key responsibility will be to provide technical assistance to college administrators, teams, and individuals around labor market or workforce information and data analysis, including training staff within the college, and at partner organizations, in appropriate uses and interpretation of data.

Starting Salary Expectations
$60,071 to $64,347 (Step 3); based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
Position Grade Salary Range
$60071 to $104159 Annual Salary

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Work is typically performed in an office environment. Extended periods of time sitting at a desk using a computer or talking on the telephone is required. Frequent travel between campuses and centers for meetings, which may require the use of a personal vehicle. Occasional early morning, evening, and weekend hours may be required.

- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Education, Communication, Psychology, Social Science, or occupational related field (Note: Experience performing the duties of this job, or related professional experience, may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.)
- Four (4) years of experience analyzing data, information, and/or data reporting
- One (1) year of experience with labor market and/or workforce data
- Experience with historical and real-time labor market and/or workforce data
- One (1) year or more of experience with labor market and/or workforce data
- Used labor market data in a higher education and/or training environment
- A working knowledge of workforce development issues
- A working knowledge of how workforce data and post-secondary education intersect
