Position Title

Adjunct Faculty - School Psychology

Position Description

The Department of Graduate Education at Rider University seeks an adjunct instructor of school psychology for the Spring, 2023 semester beginning January, 2023. This position is to teach a course reviewing reliability, validity, scale development as well as the process of administering and interpreting standardized measures of academics and behavior.

Position Requirements
  • Ed.S. or doctorate in school psychology
  • Certification as a school psychologist
  • Capacity to demonstrate the administration and interpretation of standardized measures of academic achievement and behavioral, adaptive, and social-emotional functioning
  • Cover letter explaining the applicant’s interest and capacity to support student’s academic and professional development as well as the capacity to teach students in the content areas described
  • Demonstrated success and commitment to instructing in a diverse student population

Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience
  • Ability to understand issue in reliability, validity, the normal curve, standard error of measurement, and structural validity.
  • Prior or present experience as a school psychologist.
