Job Summary

The Digital Giving Associate will be responsible for Annual Giving digital initiatives including managing micro-campaigns, coordinating complex audience segmentation, and supporting donor engagement efforts using numerous digital platforms. This position will partner across University Relations and Development and oversee crowdfunding efforts, support Giving Tuesday and Beach Spring Day of Giving digital efforts and help grow pipeline for engagement and development teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance strategic digital giving efforts.
  • Lead the design and deployment of all digital giving micro-campaigns and crowdfunding efforts, including but not limited to Giving Tuesday and Beach Spring Day of Giving, to increase participation and giving to the University.
  • Responsible for data mining and segmentation, maximizing efforts and strategy around key target audiences.
  • Manage and maintain email marketing software(s) (ThankView/Constant Contact), handling list management, unsubscribe exports, and analytic trend review.
  • Partner with colleges and departments across campus to collect student impact statements and thank you videos, project highlights, and other content such as program updates for digital stewardship outreach purposes.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, and email marketing software(s). Must have strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to demonstrate complex problem solving and creative solution implementation skills. Ability to work independently under general supervision and highly motivated. Ability to prioritize and complete work tasks in a timely manner. Ability to handle highly sensitive information. Graphic design and/or video production skills a plus

Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence."
Education and Experience

Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of (digital marketing and/or digital platform design) related experience required. Digital giving experience in higher education preferred. Working knowledge of CSU policies and procedures a plus.

Compensation

The salary range for this classification is $3,518 to $6,791 per month.

Time Base

Full-time temporary position for one year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.
