Job Description:

Principle tasks will include:

• Managing, finding, downloading, and curating databases
• Data analysis including species distribution modelling and land use change
• Geotagging observational records
• Using and contributing to open-source software

An ability to write code in multiple languages (e.g., SQL, R, Python, JavaScript) is desirable. Candidates who have experience working on and contributing to peer-reviewed manuscripts are preferred, but anyone with relevant experience is encouraged to apply and peer-reviewed publications are not a requirement for this position. Focus on global ecology and quantitative ecology using big data, largely generated from citizen science platforms (e.g. eBird, iNaturalist).

Expected Salary:

45,600.00 - 60.000 based on skills and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in quantitative
• Experience working with ecological datasets
• Experience with geospatial analysis
