The Department of Athletics at California State University, Fullerton, invites applications for an Assistant Women's Soccer Coach position with an anticipated appointment to begin Spring 2023.

The Women's Soccer program at California State University, Fullerton is a highly competitive program which competes in the NCAA Division I Big West Conference. The Assistant Women's Soccer Coach reports directly to the Head Women's Soccer Coach and they assist with coaching in this program in addition to the following duties:
  • Assist with coaching a highly competitive women's soccer program which competes ln the NCAA Division I Big West Conference
  • Recruit Division I quality student-athletes
  • Must be committed to the academic goals of the University and follow the rules and guidelines set forth by the NCAA and the Big West Conference
  • Assist with monitoring the academic progress of student athletes
  • Assist the head coach with budget, travel, and scheduling of opponents
  • Assist with team practice and game-day coaching responsibilities
  • Scout and conduct statistical analysis of recruits and opponents
  • Assist with the marketing/promotion of the women's soccer program on campus and within the community through public appearances and promotional efforts
  • Other duties as assigned by the Head Women's Soccer Coach

  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree desired
  • Two years of collegiate women's soccer coaching experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit highly skilled student athletes
  • Possession of excellent Interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of NCAA Division I rules and regulations

    Rank & Salary
    The Coaching Assistant (10-Month) classification salary range is $4,530 - $6,056 per month (12 monthly payments). Anticipated hiring range is $4,530 per month. Faculty salaries are subject to budgetary authorization and any California State University System faculty contract increases.
