Job Description:

The Stabler Department of Nursing is seeking to have a pool of qualified adjunct faculty to work with the Graduate Program Director to teach one or more nursing courses in our online MSN programs. These asynchronous courses are 7-14 weeks in length and run year round.

Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills and have the ability to deliver didactic or experiential instruction via multiple formats online. Candidates must have a strong commitment to working as part of a collaborative team to provide a supportive learning environment to registered nurses seeking a graduate degree in nursing. Candidates must be able to work independently and effectively interact with students, faculty, and administrators.

Qualified candidates will be contacted by the program director as courses become available.


Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in nursing or related field from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Current unencumbered RN and APRN license for clinical courses
  • 1-2 years teaching experience.
  • Experience in the specialty area of instruction
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Formal training or experience in online teaching and course development
  • Proficiency in the use of technology in the delivery of education
  • Doctoral degree
