The Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of North Texas (UNT) is seeking candidates for a faculty position at the Assistant (tenure-track) or Associate Professor (tenure-track or tenured) level starting Fall 2023.  The position is open to all areas in electrical engineering with an emphasis on autonomous system, RF & microwave, semiconductor IC design, and mixed-signal design.  At the starting time of employment, an earned Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field is required.  We are looking for candidates with a strong publication record and the potential to succeed in securing research funding and mentoring graduate students.  For candidates at the Associate Professor level, a strong track record of research funding and graduate student mentoring is required.  An offer of employment for this position will be made dependent upon available funding.  

The Department of Electrical Engineering offers BS, MS, and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering.  It is home to over 400 undergraduate and graduate students.
