Job Summary
To teach college-level Geology and Oceanography lecture and lab courses.
Duties and Responsibilities
• To teach college-level Geology and Oceanography lecture and lab courses at multi campus locations.
• Engage in high-quality instruction in a diverse, inclusive and student-centered environment, and the ability to work with students with various learning styles, cultures, identities, and life experiences.
• Use technology to enhance instruction and communicate effectively with the campus community.
• Demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy and mission of a comprehensive community college.
Minimum Requirements
• A Master’s Degree in Oceanography, Geology, or related field is required.
Competencies
• Teaching experience at college/community college level preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and a collaborative approach to working with students and colleagues.
