Dual Enrollment Coordinator

The Dual Enrollment Coordinator supports the day-to-day operational needs of HCC’s dual enrollment (DE) population, to include coordinating logistics of dual enrollment registration and recruitment events, such as new dual enrollment awareness events; and serves as liaison with various members of the community, including internal and external units such as Academic Affairs, Admissions, Bursar, Harford County Public Schools (HCPS) school counselors, etc.

Duties include providing regular updates of enrollment statistics; communicating with academic and College leadership regarding course offerings and dual enrollment trends; serving on joint HCC/HCPS committees including Data Exchange, Communications, and Student Success; developing semester and annual reports for dual enrollment programming; tracking, analyzing, and providing statistical progress/grade reports on DE students; identifying strategies to address DE students at risk for retention and completion; recommending, developing and implementing policies and procedures regarding dual enrollment; and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

This is an exempt, professional staff position reporting to the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management, and includes a comprehensive benefits package offering medical, dental and vision coverage; generous paid time off; tuition assistance; and retirement savings.

Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia; non-residents are expected to relocate to meet this requirement.

A bachelor’s degree and three to five years of related experience is required.  Applicants must have demonstrated proficiency using the MS Office Suite.

A working knowledge of higher education Banner enrollment services from the admissions, academic advising, and or records and registration perspective; and a “back-office” working knowledge of dual enrollment and K-12 administrative operations are preferred.
