Director-Infrastructure Support Services

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Supervises Staff of 5—Telecommunications supervisor, network technician, network administrator, system administrator, database administrator/integration specialist
• Oversees operations and support for:
  • Server Infrastructure
  • Wiring Infrastructure
  • Virtualization Infrastructure
  • Network and Endpoint Security
  • Computer Disaster and Recovery
  • Licensing and Maintenance on equipment
  • Wireless infrastructure and WiFi
  • VOIP Phone system
  • Campus Security Camera System
• Maintains relationships with vendors providing onsite or remote services, and equipment
• Assisting other IT departments with their services

Required Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of IT administration with progressive experience in information technology infrastructure services and support.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in IT or an associated field. Prior experience in managing or supervising the work of other IT staff.

Preferred Skills, Experience and Education: Master’s degree, prior experience supporting higher education or other post-secondary education environment.
