Duties and Responsibilities

Loyola University Chicago ( LUC ), College of Arts and Sciences, Department of English seeks qualified candidates for a full-time tenure track position with a specialization in modernist fiction, beginning Fall 2023. We seek a scholar and teacher whose research engages the period bookended by the two World Wars and both includes and extends beyond canonical modernist traditions. Additional specializations in one or more of the following are particularly welcome: gender and sexuality studies; race studies; comparative approaches across the Anglophone world; ecocriticism; textual studies; digital humanities; and interdisciplinary approaches.
