The School of Business and Social Sciences seeks a new business administration colleague to teach in both the undergraduate and M.B.A. programs. This position requires in-person responsibilities including on-ground classes (although there may be the option for on-line teaching in addition to on-ground teaching). Potential topics which may be part of the teaching portfolio based on the candidate’s professional and academic strengths and expertise include, but are not limited to: data mining and computer analytics, project management, statistics, accounting, finance, management, marketing, entrepreneurship, health-care administration, economics, and strategy.

Evidence of excellence in teaching at the college level and a philosophy of education consonant with Colby-Sawyer’s programs and mission are required. All full-time faculty are expected to contribute to the college’s liberal education program.

Preference will be given to candidates with professional work experience in a business environment related to the teaching areas. This position includes teaching, advising and departmental and college service responsibilities. This position is available beginning late August 2023.
