To maintain and promote the health of the student body at Virginia Tech by utilizing diagnostic, therapeutic and educational skills. The provider will be expected to perform their roles in a nonjudgmental and nondiscriminatory manner in accordance with SHC policies. They will contribute to a supportive, healthy and safe work environment that promotes mutual respect. They will maintain electronic health records and maintain patient confidentiality.
M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy. Current DEA and Virginia State Medical license or eligibility. Minimum of three (3) years experience in primary care medicine with documentation of expertise from peers or coworkers.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge/experience in a college health setting. Preference given for experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
$155,000 - $157,500
The successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check.
