Position Description Summary/Purpose :
This position provides routine maintenance services to the Goodwin University campus.
Essential Job Functions/Primary Responsibilities :

- Painting and minor carpentry as well as some plumbing work.
- Minor electrical (replacing lamps, ballasts, repairing equipment).
- Moving (furniture, boxes and files).
- Performs routine preventative building maintenance.
- Flexible work hours
- Conducts all work in a safe manner and all work safety practices are followed.
- Performs similar or related work as required, directed or as situation dictates.
- Will be required to be on call one week a month
- Continues professional development and training; keeps current with trends.
- Assists other department staff as needed to promote a team effort.
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to use common hand and power tools
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Good communication skills
- General trade skills (plumbing, carpentry, basic electrical and painting)
Education, Training and Experience :
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least five years working experience in the maintenance field
- Valid Driver's License & Insured Vehicle

Hourly Rate:
- $17.00 - $19.00/ hour
