We are searching for an experienced Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Medicinal Chemistry/Chemical Biology at our Detroit campus location.

Essential Functions (Job Duties):

The department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the College of Pharmacy seeks an individual at the level of assistant, associate, or full professor for a Tenure/ Tenure Track position.

Position Duties:

-Develop a vigorous, externally funded research program
-Provide mentorship to undergraduate, professional, graduate and post-doctoral students
-Provide quality teaching in the PhD and PharmD programs
-Provide service to the Department, College and University

Qualifications:

PhD, MD/PhD or PharmD/PhD in medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, chemical biology or related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be afforded to scientists with a record of high impact research in medicinal chemistry or chemical biology. Applicants that focus on drug design and discovery in the areas of metabolic disease, neurosciences, infectious disease, or oncology are especially desired, although other research areas will be considered.
