The successful candidate will work closely with the College of
Health and Human Services Dean, Division Chairs, and faculty to
expand and develop holdings (physical and electronic) that will
support the current and future programs in the College. They will
also create training modules in research and writing to support
skill development in these areas and will teach from these modules
A new library building is currently the number one priority in the
recently approved facilities Master Plan for the University. In the
meantime, the successful candidate will assist in our plans to
develop a separate College of Health and Human Services Library
within the current physical layout of the library.
We are looking for visionary, enthusiastic, and dedicated
candidates who will commit to the library’s mission of, “Enhancing
Education Through Research.” This is a tenure-track position, and
the successful candidate will have the opportunity to serve on
various faculty committees across the campus.
The exceptionally beautiful campus is conveniently located within
easy reach by road and rail to Chicago and surrounding communities
that have a wealth of cultural and natural attractions.
