Job Description
Falk College is seeking a part-time instructor to teach SWK 715 M700 Administration in Human Services for the Spring 2023 semester (1/10/23-5/12/23), online weekly 90-minute Synchronous Session with Asynchronous content management, Mondays 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. EST .
Course Description: Organizational and administrative theories and principles are applied to a range of human services. Administrative issues related to effective delivery of services include job design, resource procurement and allocation, strategic planning, and quality management.
Additional Course Description
This course will familiarize students with the three primary supervisory tasks: administration, education, and support. Students will also learn the difference between supervision and leadership; they will assess their own leadership styles in a variety of ways and learn several leadership techniques. Students will also become familiar with various administrative roles such as program assessment, team building, human resource management, board relationships, working with the media, budgeting, and ethical practice.
