Supports University programs designed to achieve student
completion rates as outlined in the five-year strategic
plan.
Collaborates with other administrators and faculty within own
school and across schools and with the Department Chair re:
scheduling, sharing faculty, curriculum, and
other.
Assists in assuring compliance with accreditation criteria
within three years or the length of the program, whichever is
shorter.
Is
co-responsible with Dean of the College, and other key leaders, for
accreditation.

Assists with the administration of the Academic Program or Programs with a focus on program curriculum development, evaluation, and quality improvement. Also assists with student advisement, community, and campus relations.- Creates a quarterly unified university schedule across assigned region.
- Program & Course Alignment – creates a process for biannual regional content alignment utilizing Brightspace metrics and Standardized Testing products for enhanced quality and consistency.
- Monitors classes quarterly to ensure content is consistent. Quality metrics will be monitored quarterly by courses.
- Manages Faculty Course Consortiums to standardize course syllabi and content.
- Schedules course assignments for regional VR classes.
- Assists with the clinical immersions.
- Manages academic progression & violations for PD or Lead Faculty to support efforts and ensure a consistent reporting process is in place across modalities (Exemplar Process – coordination of AC, Admissions, Registrars, PD, Student Success Center, etc.).
- Manages course consortiums to assist leadership with fluid process of content creation and alignment with foundational documents and benchmarks.
- Coordinates, manages, and supports standardized testing for across regions.
- Maintains quality metrics for course modalities.
- Coordinates with directors of admissions, registrars, and CONPH officials to ensure course sequencing/scheduling is clear to streamline the admission/progress process for students across regions.
- Coordinates with regional registrar team to – monitor CSR/SAP reports weekly
- Assists PDs with development of student retention plans to include local and regional resources.
- Assists with basis of admission (BOA) and those entering with transfer of credit (TOC), enrolling at mid-quarter, and tracking provisional admission (Standardize SAP across campuses –Savannah Exemplar process).
- As applicable - Coordinates with regional and assistant clinical coordinators (RCC/ACCs)- to ensure completion of regulatory requirements prior to students exiting quarter one (establish process).
- Utilizes existing resources such as the clinical team repository of
- national clinical partnerships to identify large organizations to
- partner and develop regional relationships.
- Identifies largest student admission volume by state and pursues
- largest clinical partners in these areas. Once identified - local and
- regional teams (admissions, RPD, PD, leadership to decide CEPW percent.
- Other responsibilities as determined by the College/Campus Dean of Academic Affairs and Department Chair (as applicable).
- PhD in Nursing or DNP from a regionally accredited university required.
- A minimum of two years successful performance in a full-time university-level teaching role and prior management experience in higher education or in another organization within the program director’s discipline.
- Must hold an active state required nursing license.
- Must hold FNP certificate.
- Online teaching experience is a plus.
- Other requirements specific to the discipline
- Experience with computerized administrative systems. Proficient with the use of standard office applications on personal computers.
- Ability to read, understand, interpret and implement accreditation criteria and state agency regulations.
- Ability to resolve inquiries and complaints from employees, students, regulatory agencies, or members of the academic or business community.
- Ability to effectively present information to faculty, academic and campus leaders, university leaders, and public groups.
