Job Description

CHIEF RECRUITING OFFICER:

Reporting to the Head Football Coach the Chief Recruiting Officer will be responsible for all aspects of the football recruiting process, including:
  • Identifying, evaluating, and selecting prospects;
  • Organizing and coordinating high school visits, at competitions and/or home visits with the assigned coaches;
  • Promoting the university through communicating with prospects and families as permitted by NCAA and SEC rules;
  • Coordinating recruitment strategies, calendars and procedures;
  • Leading a high level recruiting operation;
  • Communicating effectively with coaches, staff, and administrators; and
  • Other duties as requested.
Salary

Salary is commensurate with education and experience

Shift

Monday thru Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm; Nights and weekends as required

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in related/ relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a Division I athletic program in the area of recruiting is preferred.
