Assistant or Associate Professor, Department of Business, Management & Leadership
Medaille University seeks a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor for the Department of Business, Management & Leadership at the Buffalo Campus. The successful candidate will teach a variety of courses, at the undergraduate and graduate level, including but not limited to economics, finance, accounting and statistics, in the day/evening, hybrid accelerated and online business programs. Faculty members are expected to engage in continuing scholarly development and academic advising, as well as perform department and college-wide service. Position may require online course development. Experience with online/hybrid teaching a plus. Ideally, this position would also include serving as Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) Program Director. This is a one year position with the possibility for tenure-track the following year.
A Master’s degree is required, a terminal degree in the field or doctoral degree is preferred, Master’s is required in a business-related field with focus on economics, finance or accounting and substantial experience in positions of leadership. Prior teaching experience is preferred. Must have a strong commitment to teaching in a small college setting and to the education of diverse populations, a perceived ability to work productively with students, and the ability to work effectively with others in a collegial environment dedicated to student learning.
