The Philip H. Hagemann Department of Performing Arts at the University of Southern Indiana, a public university in Evansville, Indiana, seeks applications for a 9-month tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level in Theatre. The appointment will begin August 2023.

Position Description:
The Assistant Professor will be expected to engage in creative scholarship, professional and university service activities, and advising, with a 4/4 teaching load per semester, which includes undergraduate departmental course offerings in Lighting Design, Lighting Technology, Drafting for the Theatre, and Introduction to the Theatre, with 3 reassigned hours when designing University productions during a semester.

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must hold an MFA in Theatre or a closely related field. Applicants in the process of finishing their degree will be considered if the degree will be conferred by hire date.
