Full-Time Nursing Pediatric and Pathophysiology Faculty
The University of Lynchburg, a private, regional university in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Central Virginia, invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track position in the School of Nursing at the Assistant/Associate Professor level for the Spring 2022-2023 academic year.
Specific Job Duties:
- Teaching courses in Pediatrics, didactic and clinical.
- Nursing Pathophysiology.

Teaching Load: The normal teaching load is 12 hours per semester.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods standing or sitting at a desk.
- Walking while on clinical units to meet, supervise, and interact with students and staff.
Required Qualifications/Education:
- The ideal candidate will have a background in nursing pediatrics, and will be expected to teach a variety of lower and upper-division nursing courses, as well as Professional certification such as a BLS is required as well as a VA nursing license.
- The candidate will have a master’s in nursing education from an accredited school of nursing.
- A doctoral degree in nursing or a related field is a plus.
