Academic Support:

  1. Assist SBS UG Programs team in anticipated curriculum transition, implementation, and assessment.
  2. Support program development efforts and roll-out.
  3. Research various modalities and media for content, supporting continuous innovation of program design and implementation.
  4. As part of SBS UG Programs team, manage Academic Catalogue updates.
  5. As part of SBS UG Programs team, create promotional materials for Open House & Showcase events
  6. Communicate with faculty and department chairs regarding SBS UG initiatives.
  7. Assist in the design, implementation, and assessment of faculty training workshops, intra-semester debrief meetings, and end-of-semester faculty feedback for select courses.
Accumulate and summarize faculty evaluations, as well as intra-semester and post-course student surveys for select courses.

Advising

  1. As part of the SBS UG Programs team, coordinate and promote department-led advising (pre-registration) to students beyond the first year (sophomores, Juniors, seniors).
  2. Assist the SBS UG Programs team in the development of a coordinated, academic department-based offering of discipline-focused conversations that would take place throughout the course of the semester.
Working as a team, assign faculty advisors to students and update assignments as needed

Administration:

  1. Support the SBS UG Programs administrative team in faculty staffing, as well as communicating with faculty and admin to build schedules with the registrar's office.
  2. Help plan and organize the end of End of Year Achievement (pre-Commencement) event to recognize and showcase senior achievements.
  3. With SBS UG Programs, assist with Orientation, Convocation, and Commencement activities as needed.
  4. Identify opportunities to connect the academic, experiential and social experiences that will engage and enrich the undergraduate experience.

UG Programs Support

    Provide needed support and assistance for any activities and initiatives organized by the Schools Undergraduate Programs leadership team including the Assistant Dean and the Director. Be an active player and member of the entire team with the passion and goal to help students succeed and prosper. Working as a team, review and enter all SBS UG courses schedules. Prepare to provide information to students, F2F, as needed Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive materials and matters with tact, discretion, and sound judgment. Must be creative and proactive to ensure efficient operation of the office and must have ability to resolve problems independently.

Requirements/Qualifications:

    Bachelors degree in business or a related field is a must and Masters degree is a plus Experiences in a business school setting with an in-depth understanding of the Business School and University curricular requirements Experiences with higher education and knowledge about retention challenges and strategies Deep knowledge about Gen Z learning styles and digital education trends Excellent written and oral communication, and teamwork skills Problem solving, data entry, data analysis and presentation, event planning and coordination
  • Personal attributes including but are not limited to caring, detail oriented, patient, thoughtful, proactive, and willing to take initiatives and to take on new challenges
    Technological/Software skills required: Basic website design skill, MS Office, Tableau, Qualtrics, Informer, Colleague, EAB-Student Success Collaborative (SSC), Workday Student, and Blackboard.
