Job Description:

Serve as the primary administrative liaison for CHEER to the public and other university departments; provides assistance, makes referrals when necessary, and solves a variety of problems independently. Answer calls and questions from program/research participants, community members, and faculty and staff. Support the CHEER faculty/staff and program coordinators with scheduling, answering phone calls and inquiries, and making meeting/transportation arrangements. Schedule, coordinate, and arrange meetings, visits, seminars, conferences, and other engagements for ORA/CHEER. Manage front office/reception. Create, review, respond to and/or disseminate all written and electronic communications/ correspondence as needed. Ensure timely and accurate response to various stakeholders.

Prepare, edit and format documents and presentations for CHEER Co-Directors and staff. Conduct research or analysis and make recommendations to unit management. Assist with interpretation of organizational/program policies.

Assist with human resources documents/data, such as staff hiring/onboarding and tracking all required staff training certifications. Disseminate information to the unit and serve as a unit resource for databases, word processing, reporting, policies, and procedures.

Responsible for the management of supplies and inventory, facilities, mail, equipment, and payment of third party vendors. Ensure appropriate level of supplies in a cost-effective manner. Enter orders and payments into UF financial systems. Prepare and submit disbursement/expense requests as directed.

All other duties, as assigned.

Expected Salary:

Up to $22.75 per hour

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Customer Service - Must enjoy interacting with diverse populations throughout the day with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Expert in all MS Office applications

Experience with design programs is a plus (Examples: Canva, Visme, Adobe).
