Job Description:
Program Development
Participate in the establishment of operational goals and objectives that align with the overall program work plan. Create project plans, including timelines and milestones.
Establish and maintain relationships with the key partner groups to understand their needs, ensure alignment on objectives, and ensure ongoing buy-in across all project activities.
Program Implementation
Conduct regular and ad-hoc project reviews and meetings with project team, partners, and sponsors to implement program evaluation and QI plans. Maintain open communication among project participants and interested parties. Evaluate the effectiveness of program strategies and ensures milestones are met.
Program Budgeting & Administration
Administer budgets for the Jacksonville program site. Prepare financial analysis such as income and expense forecasting as well as financial reports. Ensure proper reporting of financials to UF and the funder. Develop and deliver progress reports and presentations.
Staff Supervision
Resolve escalated problems referred by subordinate staff. Plan and coordinate program activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing and reviewing the work of subordinate employees. Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering policies/procedures, and resolving work related problems.
Expected Salary:
Up to $74,906 annually
Minimum Requirements:
Master's degree in in an appropriate area; or a bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with program/project/grant management, including development, budgeting, implementation, and reporting/monitoring outcomes.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and to resolves obstacles to achieving program goals.
Previous supervisory experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Experience working with community organizations and nonprofits.
Should excel in and facilitate a collaborative environment, and collaborative partnerships with a wide variety of partners (academic, community organizations, community members, healthcare providers, nonprofits, etc.).
