Job Description
Position Summary: The associate director of creative video is responsible for visualizing, producing, shooting, editing and delivering impactful content Mizzou Athletics media platforms and in-venue displays.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Work directly with assigned sports to create content to aid with their marketing, recruiting and social media efforts.
Plan and execute photo/video shoots, support events, and produce content for Mizzou Athletics and other outlets.
Oversee creative projects from concept to execution, including but not limited to short and long-form content, intro videos, in-game marketing elements, hype videos and more.
Assist External team with creative media needs in support of assigned sports, social media, marketing, recruiting, ticket sales and attendance.
Meet quick turnarounds to post high quality videos on same day that events occur.
Provide insight to push department forward with emerging trends in social, digital media, as well as in-venue entertainment.
Assist with management and archival of media assets.
Must supply a strong portfolio of previous work creating video
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to work closely with student-interns to mentor/train/teach them how to shoot and edit assigned projects
Ability to clearly communicate project goals to all members of the production team
Able to work across and within departments to successfully portray the Mizzou Tigers brand
Proven ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
Perform other related duties as assigned
Salary
Hiring Range: $15.75/hourly - $27.42/hourly, Salary will be commensurate with education and experience
Grade: GGS 7
University Title: Media Producer II

Shift
Monday thru Friday 8:00a - 5:00p; Nights and weekends as required. Some holidays and travel as needed with assigned sports.
Minimum Qualifications
An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in journalism, media, or a related field from an accredited institution of higher education
-At least two years experience creating video content for collegiate athletic department and/or professional sports program
-Videography experience including lighting, feature interviews, on-location shooting, live sporting events and television/streamed shows
-Experience creating content for non-standard video display dimensions, including in-venue board content such as intro videos, in-game marketing elements, hype videos, etc.
-At least two years experience editing with non-linear formats
-Experience working with 4K footage and LUTs
-Must be able to work closely with student-interns to mentor/train/teach them how to shoot and edit projects as assigned.
-Familiarity and experience with multiple video file formats and media archival systems
-Demonstrated high proficiency with Adobe Premiere editing, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and 3D software
