Economics: Assistant Professor-Tenure Stream, beginning Fall 2023
The Division of Management and Education invites applications for a tenure-stream position, at the level of Assistant Professor of Economics, beginning Fall 2023.
Requirements: Ph.D. or ABD, with a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates is required. ABDs with September 2023 completion dates will also be considered. Teaching responsibilities could include principles of macroeconomics, intermediate macroeconomics, money and banking and other upper-division economics electives emphasizing public policies in poverty, and international affairs. Applicants with excellent research and teaching experience in global issues or management will also be considered. Additionally, we seek candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their scholarship, teaching and/or service. We especially encourage applications from members of historically underrepresented groups in the field. Research, advising, and community service are also position requirements.
