Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for nine-month, non-tenure track faculty positions as Lecturer of Computer Science in the Department of Computer Science beginning August 2023. 

A commitment to excellence in teaching and service to the university, department and/or discipline is expected of all non-tenure track faculty.

Responsibilities Include

  • Teach 4/5 courses per term (fall/spring) in computer science at the undergraduate level. This is a 90% teaching, and 10% service workload model.
  • Teaching courses online, hybrid or face-to-face as per department need.
  • Service in the Department or College or University or professional community is expected.
  • Teaching and working with a culturally and an ethnically diverse community

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

An earned Masters or Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or related field is required.
