Job Description:
The UF Career Connections Center is searching for a multimedia specialist student assistant to help develop innovative multimedia content for the center's social media accounts, website, and outreach materials.
This individual will be responsible for student headshot days, working with staff to create educational videos, pitching social media ideas, and creating engaging videos.
Assists in all aspects of video, photo, and sound production to create branded content for digital, social, and print communications, including but not limited to:
Planning and scheduling photo and video shoots
Photographing and filming various events and programs such as Career Showcase, Careers in Healthcare Conference, and Career Connections Center workshops.
Edit educational videos for YouTube and Website.
Edits videos and photos with Adobe Creative Suite.
Shoots professional headshots for UF students.
Edits and films TikToks and Reels
Plan and record career related podcasts in our podcast room.
Works in a team environment with student marketing team.
Maintains professional relationships with Career Connections Center professional staff, student staff, and participants.
Career Connections Center Values
The Career Connections Center is open Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Employees will be expected to work in the career center during regular business hours. Student staff in the Career Connections Center work in a shared work environment.

Expected Salary:
$10.00 per hour
Minimum Requirements:
This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and will be employed through student Other Personnel Services (OPS) and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous photo and video experience
Proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro and Lightroom
Has experience with Adobe After Effects, Audition, and Photoshop
Has knowledge and experience operating:
DSLR and mirrorless cameras
Sound Recording Equipment
Lighting Equipment
Must maintain scheduled office hours
Must be able to work weekends and evenings
