Job Description
The Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business, Dean’s Office, seeks an Office Support Assistant IV (Administrative Assistant) to provide administrative tasks that support the Dean and Senior Executive Assistant to the Dean. The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor, credibility, good judgment skills, a positive attitude; and be organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented. The candidate should possess an eagerness to learn and be a welcoming point of contact for visitors, students, staff, faculty, alumni, and donors.
This position will be responsible for the following tasks.
- Display excellent communication skills, hospitality, and customer service for the Dean’s Office. This position will be the first point of contact to greet students, staff, faculty, alumni, donors, and visitors in person and on the phone.
- Provide back-up support as needed for the Senior Executive Assistant, scheduling meetings, recording minutes, event assistance, projects, travel, reservations.
- Handle confidential material and/or communications with professionalism and discretion.
- Provide upkeep for reception area and boardroom including cleanliness and updating reading materials as needed. Open and close office suite each day.
- Provide fiscal and administrative support for the Advancement, Marketing and Communications, and IDE offices as needed.
- Process fiscal transactions, reconcile accounts, and processing contracts.
- Maintain office supply inventory and ordering.
- Other duties as assigned
Salary Range: $16.00 - 18.00 per hour
GGS Grade: 006

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
An associate degree or five years of related experience in business, higher education, and/or customer service is preferred. Experience and knowledge of campus policy, procedures, and academic setting.
