Job Description:

Project management: works as a project manager across multiple departmental, organizational, and program level projects. Assist in the identification, intake, resourcing, and defining of organization projects. Lead, montitor, and manage project team tasks, assignments, deliverables, and timelines to ensure timely delivery of projects. Develop project charters, communication plans, work breakdown structures, user stories, project plans, and other project artifacts to define need/impact, risks, deliverables, decisions, dependencies, and deadlines for assigned projects. Prioritize multiple assignments and execute strategies within time constraints to meet deadlines. Establish and lead high performing project teams to deliver project solutions. Track and escalate decisions, risks, and dependenices across projects. Document project requirements in shared work spaces and ensure project teams and stakeholders; ensure project requirements are communicated and understood. Organize and conduct project meetings. Demonstrate flexiiblity, teamwork and creativity in effectively addressing challenges and adjusting project plans, as needed.

Communications and Reporting: Effectively communicates project expectations with teams and reports on the progress of assigned projects to leadership and stakeholders. Report the progress of initiatives, gather information, organize and present ideas, materials, and recommendations clearly. Develop and communicate project implementation plans. Communicate changes, risks, and variance to project milestones and deliverables.

Relationship management: Faciliate a project team environment that fosters trust, collaboration and solution-oriented focus. Works effectively with diverse project teams, leadership, and stakeholders to foster effective working relationship with a focus on successful project implementations.

Dissemination: Assist and particiate in collection of data and presentation of project reports, presentations, and articles.

Expected Salary:

$60,600 to $75,000

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree in in an appropriate area; or a bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least four years experience leading technical, health-related, or informatics research projects
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
  • Experience leading project teams using Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Experience working with project management tools and software, Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) preferred
  • Experience working with data analysis and data management software
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly with regard to project requirements and documentation
  • Excellent written (in English) and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and to collaborate with faculty, staff, and healthcare professionals at multiple levels
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to receive and maintain confidential or sensitive information
  • Demonstrate strong skills and proficiency in Microsoft suite of programs (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Teams) Adobe, and web navigation tools and programs
  • Working knowledge of informatics and/or health-related research
  • Ability to handle protected health information
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate independently own duties and responsibilities toward meeting project and program goals
  • Ability to motivate people who may or may not be direct reports to work as a team to achieve project, program, and organizational goals
