Job Description

Lead the efforts of the University to create new and innovative opportunities for income generation through targeted expansion, sustainability and growth of programs, strategic partnerships, contract acquisitions, and entrepreneurial activities. Manages the affairs of the Foundation for the University of the Virgin Islands and implements the strategic plan of the Foundation. Facilitates the development of opportunities for increases in student enrollment and University expansion through the negotiating of MOUs and other contracts for business and education related services.

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate in educational leadership/administration, business management, or related field and three
• (3) years of experience in higher education and business consulting.
  
• Training and experience in innovation and quality improvement systems. Significant consulting experience in change management, organizational change initiatives, and strategic planning within private, governmental and academic environments. Possess a high degree of understanding of, and experiences within, higher education including a keen knowledge of organizational development, entrepreneurism, project development and management and strategic planning.
  
• Links to extensive networks of reputable potential investors is preferred.
  
• Academic and corporate experience is preferred.
