Associate Director of Employee Training and Development *Revised*

Under the supervision of the Associate Vice President of Human Resources, the Associate Director of Employee Training and Development (Associate Director 2) has management responsibility for employee training and professional development overseen by the Office of Human Resources including, but not limited to: establishing and managing learning systems and content; overseeing new employee onboarding and integration; developing campus-wide communications and updates related to learning and development; performing miscellaneous generalist responsibilities; and does related work as required. The Associate Director of Employee Training and Development works to continuously connect staff to learning and development programs that promote personal and career development, social connection and sense of belonging. This position requires travel and a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience working with training and professional development in Human Resources is required. Master’s degree is preferred. Candidate must have demonstrated working knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulations applicable to human resources; solid consultative and coaching skills, relationship building and problem solving skills; and excellent presentation, communication and project management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HRIS (Workday preferred) is essential.
