Duties and Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the person holding this position will be to provide instruction in the RN to BSN program. Successful applicants will be expected to use their skills to assist in recruiting, retaining, and contributing to the success of students in the Health Care Services Department, as well as participating in ongoing efforts to improve the quality of our learning-centered environment. This full-time faculty position will be expected to assist the Department in its efforts to maintain quality education standards and accreditation. In addition, this position will include student advising, departmental and campus committee participation, service, and scholarly productivity.
Required Qualifications: Experience, Education, Knowledge &Skills –
- Candidate will have a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Current unencumbered RN license in the State of Montana or ability to acquire a Montana license with demonstrated expertise in the field of nursing is required.
- Evidence of high-quality college teaching experience in an online format is required.
- The ability to work collaboratively with other faculty, professionals, staff, students, community stakeholders, and people from diverse backgrounds is a must.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as demonstrated computer literacy skills, including the ability to use online learning management systems, spreadsheets, databases, and word processing applications are required.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills:
- Doctoral degree is preferred

The Program The RN to BSN Degree Completion Program is a 49-credit hour program with 33 credits in upper division nursing courses and 16 credits in general education requirements.
