Greek Life at Auburn University is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Director, Greek Life to oversee the fraternity and sorority housing and property management, health and safety standards for Greek Life, and conduct. Home to over 8,400 students, Greek Life provides Auburn students with opportunities for personal growth and development. The Auburn University Office of Greek Life staff represents more than 20 years of experience working with men’s and women’s fraternal organizations. Essential Functions
- Oversees the housing and compliance area of Greek Life ensuring staff and facilities are in accordance with University and Greek Life standards and expectations.
- Ensures that chapters receive regular training and review of their risk management protocols and policies. Develops and assesses processes and changes regarding risk management.
- Serves as a liaison to Student Conduct regarding the adjudication of fraternities and sororities related to organizational misconduct.
- Ensures records are received and kept in compliance with university policies, procedures, and all federal, local, and state laws.
- Oversees administrative practices that service the Greek community, such as communication protocol, event registration details, data collection, roster management, and grade reporting.
- Works directly with house corporations, campus, and city officials to ensure compliance with land-lease agreements, city, and university policies.
- Develops regular educational opportunities to organizations’ students, alumni, and campus leadership regarding emergency situations, weather emergencies, house evacuations, and crisis management.
