Nephrology Junior Faculty Position - The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP)

The Division of Renal-Electrolyte and Hypertension in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Applicants should be ABIM certified or board eligible in Nephrology.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching Penn medical students, residents, advanced practice practitioners and nephrology fellows. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of high quality teaching.

Clinical responsibilities may include caring for kidney patients in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise or interest in either home dialysis, complex hypertension, or practice employing a value-based care model.
