Title: Temporary- Student Editorial Assistant

Job Summary:

Student Editorial Assistant for the Philosophical Methods Open Educational Resources (OER) project.

Job Duties:

Provide feedback on readability from the student perspective. Assist in identifying and resolving typos. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current student enrolled at Vol State.

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of at least 6 credit hours in Philosophy by the end of Fall 2022.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to learn to use the LaTeX coding language for typesetting and for bibliography and index construction.

Pay Rate: $18.75 per hour

Special Instructions to Applicants:

Unofficial transcripts are acceptable for the application process. Official transcripts will be required upon hire.

Applicants may be subject to a background check.

This is a grant funded position.
