Master’s Degree. Two years of experience with grantsmanship, technical writing, and/or healthcare/life science research. Knowledge of the healthcare industry and/or Health Professions fields (Rehabilitation Sciences, Speech Language & Hearing Sciences, Laboratory Sciences and Primary Care, Clinical Counseling and Mental Health, and Healthcare Administration and Leadership). Successful history working with Research Integrity Office(s). Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Capacity to simplify ideas into easily understood concepts. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Major/Essential Functions
- Support Associate Dean of Research with developing and
restructuring sustainable programs that support the development and
productivity of SHP Research & Innovation scholars.
- Support internally and externally funded SHP Investigators to
ensure timely project completion, reporting, and compliance.
- Improve and develop internal resources to aid SHP
investigators’ pursuits of scholarship opportunities.
- Maintain the SHP Research & Innovation website content and
resource updates.
- Seek new funding opportunities through prospecting and
assisting in matching federal, state, and private funding
opportunities to SHP faculty, staff, and graduate students.
- Manage SHP internal Faculty Assistance and Sponsorship
programs.
- Facilitate research collaborations between faculty, graduate
students, and staff based on their areas of strength and
interest.
- Manage and coordinate the SHP Endowed Lecture Series (ELS) and
associated research development series.
- Collaborate with the management of the SHP CH Foundation
Endowed Pain Science Programs (Pain Science Scholarships and
Doctoral Award).
- Manage Swift Card participant payment program for SHP-sponsored
research.
- Assist SHP faculty with human subject recruitment and
enrollment.
- Prepare research productivity reports for all stakeholders as
needed.
- Assist SHP in WEAVE Program Coordination and Reporting for the
Assistant Dean for Outcomes and Assessment.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a
diverse community, including students, faculty, administrators, and
industry, as well as federal, state, and private agencies. Possess
open communication style, excellent interpersonal skills, and
strong customer service skills. Proven history of leading or
organizing project teams of various sizes and seeing projects
through to completion. Demonstrated self-starter with the ability
to multi-task, manage time and prioritize multiple projects and
deadlines.
