Photographer & Videographer



PHOTOGRAPHER & VIDEOGRAPHER

The Photographer & Videographer is responsible for all photo and video needs of ACHE. The content creator will work with large amounts of short-form video content for Marketing social media accounts, including Instagram, TikTok, and other emerging platforms. As a content creator, the position will collaborate with other strategists and storytellers to bring the institution’s stories to our ever-growing audiences through video content on social platforms.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Fluent in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
  • Highly experienced in using professional filmmaking equipment and camera gear
  • A self-starter and flexible multitasker who can work independently and thrive in a collaborative team environment
  • Passionate about using social media as a platform to reach people
  • Comfortable with shifting deadlines and tight turnarounds
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing & Branding Manager and Lead Designer to create visual content for social media, advertisements, marketing materials, and more
  • Assist with social media, including taking photos, creating videos, and writing posts
  • Operate drone camera to capture video and photography content for use on promotional and marketing materials
  • Coordinate all activities and materials supporting each photographic and video shoot project
  • Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Education and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience producing video-driven social media content
  • Solid motion design experience using Adobe After Effects or similar applications
  • Well-versed in shooting with professional equipment but still know how to capture something on the fly with an iPhone

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience in social media marketing
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Proven videography experience
  • Proven photography experience
  • Fully competent in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Competent use of standard computer packages to include Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Positive attitude, excellent organizational and time management skills, good multitasking ability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in a diverse work environment
  • Effective project management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Physical and Sensory Abilities
  • May be exposed to short, intermittent, and/or prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing in performance of job duties.
  • May be required to accomplish job duties using various types of equipment/supplies to include, but not limited to pens, pencils, calculators, computer keyboards, telephone, etc.
  • May be required to transport oneself to other campus offices, conference rooms, and on occasion, to off-campus sites to attend meetings, conferences, workshops, seminars, etc.
  • May require significant travel or work away from campus.
  • Requires attendance at events representing ACHE both within as well as outside of the college setting.
  • Frequently required to work at a desk, conference table or in meetings of various configurations.
  • Frequently required to see for purposes of reading matter.
  • Frequently required to hear and understand speech at normal levels.
  • Occasionally required to lift items in a normal office environment.
  • Frequently required to operate office and presentation equipment.
