Job Description
  • Ability to schedule, via phone calls or in-person, forensic appointments which include:
  • Gathering and clearly/accurately documenting reported information
  • Selecting the date/time for services as based upon case needs, MDT timelines, and staffing availability
  • Notification of all pertinent MDT members regarding scheduled services
  • Accurately preparing case file documentation and ensuring all relevant information is obtained prior to the schedule appointment
  • Ability to answer common MDT member and/or client questions in a timely manner regarding forensic services
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritizes activities/requests, work independently, provide accurate documentation, follow both verbal and written directions and complete all tasks
  • Solicit, compile, organize and summarize forensic data utilizing Microsoft Office programs (e.g. Word, Excel) and additional database software to prepare graphs, charts or reports in order to assist forensic staff or administrators in conveying or presenting said information
  • Ability to provide back up support to office support staff
  • Ability to conduct monthly MDT Case Review meetings when needed
  • Other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary and appropriate by Supervisor

Salary

Pay commensurate with education and experience.
Hiring Range: $19.38 per hour
Grade: GGS-008
University Title: Mental Health Professional

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related area
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely, accurate manner
  • Exhibit maturity, reliability, composure and stability when gathering and conveying information to and from clients and MDT professionals
  • Ability to provide accurate verbal instructions and written documentation
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Ability to compile statistics and present information in a simple to understand format
  • Ability to accurately complete daily activity timesheets
  • Ability to work well with others
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge through formal coursework, training and experience in working with issues and systems related to the field of child maltreatment including the understanding of law enforcement, prosecution, family court and child protective services policies and procedures
