The Georgia Institute of Technology’s School of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank to expand our research and teaching in health economics. The School has a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we welcome all qualified applicants to apply, including women, minorities, veterans, and persons with disabilities.
We seek applicants with research interests in health economics with an emphasis on women and teen welfare. The successful candidate should have demonstrated the ability to teach courses on the economics of health and healthcare at the B.S. and Ph.D. level, will be expected to publish in top health economics journals, and will be expected to develop collaborative health economics research with faculty in the School of Economics, the Health Economics and Analytics Lab, and others at Georgia Tech.
Job duties will include research, teaching and advising students, and service activities at Georgia Tech.
Applicants should submit: 1) a cover letter; 2) a curriculum vitae; 3) three reference letters.
Applicants are encouraged to apply by December 1, 2022, for optimal consideration; however, the search will continue until the position is filled.
An earned doctorate is required by the start of the appointment, and a background check must be completed prior to employment.
