Job Summary:

To perform minor repairs and maintenance and assist in the repair and maintenance of campus plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration facilities and equipment.

Job Duties:

Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance of designated building and equipment; check and repair minor equipment. Maintenance to malfunctioned equipment to include noisy bearings, broken belts, leaking faucets and pipes, and blown fuses. Troubleshooting of H.V.A.C. equipment. Make minor adjustments in equipment and temperature settings; clean or change filters; oil or grease motors. Make repairs and corrections to plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration facilities and equipment as required; notify H.V.A.C. Supervisor if immediate action is required. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Two years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Computer knowledge with a BAS system.
Universal refrigeration certification.
Knowledge in Low Voltage components A/C and D/C.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of methods, materials and equipment used in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, boilers, chillers, and other maintenance practices.
Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.

Pay Rate: $26,940 - $32,330 annual salary depending on experience
