Hiring Range: $68,796-$85,995 Annually, plus full state benefits

Job Description:


Germanna Community College is a public, open access institution of higher education in the Virginia Community College System. The College is a dynamic learning organization that serves as a Germanna regional leader and preferred partner where quality learning experiences enable students to participate effectively in the social, economic, political, intellectual, and cultural life of their communities. Germanna Community College is centrally located in Fredericksburg, VA between Washington D.C. and Richmond and between the Blue Ridge mountains and the Chesapeake Bay. Full of history, the area offers a community rich with diversity, the arts, technology, vineyards, hiking, canoeing/kayaking and many other activities.

Germanna is currently searching for a Product Development Coordinator for our Workforce programs. The Product Development Coordinator will develop new revenue streams through relationships with external customers, resulting in quality training and education sales. New revenue streams will focus on expansion and implementation of multi-modal products including simulation-related programming, across all program areas including IT, Healthcare, Industry/Manufacturing, Construction Trades, Government Contracting, K-12, and Business Services. Responsible for developing, securing, and growing strategic alliances to further educational, training or apprenticeship opportunities. Duties include product conception, implementation and oversight, the project management, and standardization and evaluation of new product models and modalities.

Special Assignments:

KSA's/Required Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree or a combination of education and experience in IT, business, technical field, workforce education, economic development, or a related field
  • Minimum three years of experience in successful sales and/or relationship building
  • Experience developing/using various online educational modalities, demonstrated success in business training and product development
  • Experience working with diverse communities
  • Industry experience
  • Project management experience and skills


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Related professional certifications in IT or Business
