The Network Support Specialist provides desktop and network support for the College of Engineering and Computing.

The Network Support Specialist provides administrative, technical and client support to desktop systems, including break/fix, hardware setup and installation, software installation, and hardware support; installs and maintains desktop systems; provides technical support to faculty for supporting research and teaching infrastructure, including identifying hardware/software solutions; provides classroom support to maintain classrooms and break/fix which includes computer, audio and video systems; deploys various networking technology platforms for teaching and research.

Required: Associates Degree with a minimum of one year of professional experience or 3-5 years related professional experience.

Consideration may be given to candidates with a Bachelor's degree, sophisticated knowledge of networking & computing at the desktop/workstation level; hardware and software installation and networks; solving audio visual systems issues; installing operating systems and applications.
