UHSP is seeking an experienced Financial Aid Coordinator to assist in the administration of financial programs within the Office of Financial Aid and provide financial aid support to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. If you are an articulate person with excellent communication and presentation skills, and can explain personal finance concepts effectively, you are encouraged to apply!

The financial aid coordinator reports to the Assistant Vice-President for Enrollment Management and Director of Financial Aid. In this role, you will assist in the management of financial aid files, tracking required financial aid documents, student loan default prevention programs, student financial literacy programming and communications, and the daily processing of select Federal aid programs. In addition, you will be charged with maintaining a technical skill set to assist in utilizing all software applications used by the Financial Aid staff.


Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in a professional enrollment services environment, such as financial aid or admissions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Teams) and financial aid databases
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills
  • Ability to explain personal finance concepts effectively
