Essential Functions (Job Duties):

The Department of Neurology at the Wayne State University School of Medicine is seeking applicants for an exciting faculty position encompassing Neurology and Pain Management. This position is offered on the Clinician-Educator Track and is housed at the Detroit Medical Center, the largest hospital system in Detroit Metro. Our department has an internationally recognized strong tradition of excellence in clinical medicine and research.

The applicant will have the opportunity to participate in:

-Developing educational programs within the Department of Neurology to train medical students, residents and fellows in Pain Management.

-Neurology inpatient and outpatient services.

-Pain management inpatient and outpatient services.

-Research opportunities, educational programs and clinical trials.

- Other related duties

Unique Duties:

Qualifications:

M.D. or D.O. degree required form an accredited medical school. Valid Michigan medical license.
Completion of residency in Neurology.
Additional fellowship training in Pain preferred.
Board certified/board eligible in Neurology.
Rank commensurate with credentials.
