We are searching for an experienced Faculty - Rank to be Determined - Dept of Oncology at our Detroit campus location.

Essential Functions (Job Duties):

Demonstrated record of peer-reviewed literature as first or co-author. The successful candidate will join a highly dynamic and collegial academic setting, and will receive a competitive start-up package, generous laboratory space, state-of-the-art core facilities, and an environment that supports multidisciplinary collaboration.

The candidate will be expected to contribute to departmental activities, and demonstrate excellence in teaching and trainee mentorship in our graduate and medical programs.

Qualifications:

All candidates must have a PhD or equivalent in public health, epidemiology, psychology, health communication, or other similar scientific discipline with an outstanding record of high impact research commensurate with level.

Evidence of scholarly productivity (i.e., external grant support and scholarly publications) Ability to provide quality instruction to a variety of students.
Faculty rank Commensurate with credentials.

Potential candidates must demonstrate a commitment to reducing health disparities and will be expected to conduct research that is responsive to the needs and disparities within KCI's 46-county catchment area in Michigan, with the goal of achieving health equity. Although the candidate will be based in Detroit, a vibrant urban center with a long history of innovation and activism, there is ample opportunity to advance research with regional and statewide reach.
