We are seeking a Registration Administrator. This
position is responsible for upholding the University policies and
procedures regarding student privacy and confidentiality in
compliance with FERPA laws, and managing all registration related
areas for Advanced Academic Programs.
- Supervise Registration team, consisting of three records and
registrations specialist staff members.
- Conduct annual reviews.
- Staff development.
- Provide ongoing feedback and constructive criticism.
- Prioritize and direct work efforts, providing guidance and
direction.
- Engage in conflict resolution.
- Motivate for higher collaboration and performance.
- Conduct interviews and make recommendations for
hire.
Decision Making
- Serve as initial arbiter of exceptions to academic policy,
along with Executive Director of Enrollment Services and Student
Success.
- Make strategic decisions for all registration related systems
and processes.
Procedure & Records Management
- Provide best practice recommendations and leadership in the
utilization of technology in AAP’s registration
processes.
- Learn about and inform AAP administrators and faculty about the
legal and regulatory considerations that affect the registration
process.
- Build the AAP academic calendar and ensure the schedule of
classes is posted online.
- Meet with investigators from the federal government to provide
enrollment verifications as needed.
- Uphold University policies and procedures, especially with
regard to student privacy and confidentiality in compliance with
FERPA laws.
- Serve as functional lead for the ISIS SSS system and training
the registration team.
- Serve as contact for all ISIS reporting regarding student
enrollments.
- Lead the development and implementation of degree
audits.
- Prepare periodic registration and other reports for program
directors and senior staff as needed.
- Maintain current and historical registration
records.
- Oversee faculty grade entry; communicate to program directors
and faculty.
- Oversee the processing of probationary and dismissal letters to
students.
- Work closely with the Executive Director and AAP Programmer to
analyze trends and make recommendations Program
Directors.
- Uphold the integrity of the degree clearance
process.
- Responsible for the Presidents’ letters pertaining to
graduation.
- Execute commencement activities with the Director of Student & Faculty Services.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- One year related experience.
- Additional education may substitute for experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Advanced Degree.
- Additional education beyond BA/BS may substitute for experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
- Five to Seven years of registration or enrollment management experience.
