We are searching for an experienced Assistant Professor (Teaching) - Spanish 046839 at our Detroit campus location.

Essential Functions (Job Duties):

Teach all levels of Spanish language, literature, and culture.

Coordinate and provide functional supervision for basic Spanish language courses.

Coordinate the Spanish Learning Community.

Other duties as assigned.

Unique Duties:

Qualifications:

Ph.D. or ABD in Spanish (Romance Languages).

University-level teaching experience.

Expert proficiency in Spanish and English.

Experience in language program coordination and instructional technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

Doctoral specialization in Applied Linguistics or Second Language Acquisition. Interest in undergraduate curriculum articulation, heritage language learning, and multilingualism.
