Job Summary

This position is only open to dual credit adjunct faculty who are currently or will be teaching CIT at the Lake County Tech Campus.

Required Qualification
  • Currently or will be teaching CIT at the Lake County Tech Campus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Business OR related discipline.

OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field AND three (3) years of experience in computer education OR the computer/information systems /computer programing/computer software industry.
  • Proven ability to work effectively and constructively with persons of diverse cultures, language groups, and abilities; demonstrate sensitivity to and ability to work with the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

The number of adjunct faculty hired varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department. Adjunct faculty hires and assignments are coordinated by the department chairs.
